We rent our house mainly on weekends and most Bank Holidays. We can sometimes extend a booking into the Monday if you require - please just ask!! 4miles/10min drive from Principality Stadium, Sophia Gardens & Cardiff. 10mins on train into Cardiff City Centre from Dingle Road train station, which is a 7min walk from the property. We have 2 further train stations; Cogan train station is a 16min walk, and Penarth train station is a 20min walk Our house has 4 bedrooms and could sleep up to 8ppl depending on requirements (2 small children could fit in the sofa bed, or 1 adult). Shared gated area leads to garage at back of house, with parking for 1 car (on hardstanding area outside garage). Plenty of street parking also available. Electric charging point outside garage. Garage leads to small back garden. Large kitchen has full-length bi-fold doors at the back, with French doors and small terrace at the front. Dining table can fit 6-8ppl. Living room has stunning view from Severn Bridge to Brecon Beacons, with full panorama of the city of Cardiff (please note that Booking dot com has described our balcony as providing 'a comfortable outdoor seating area' - this is not the case, it is a JULIET balcony). One family bathroom with bath (middle floor), one en-suite with shower (top floor in master bedroom), one small toilet with basin (ground floor). Small desk/work area and gym equipment also available (weights/bands/weights bench). Top Floor: master bedroom has a king bed, another room with a small double bed, and another small room with sofa bed for 2 children or 1 adult. Middle floor: bedroom has a super king which converts into 2 single beds if necessary. Don't expect an 'executive' style house - it is clean and nicely decorated, but is lived-in and far from perfect!! Dogs welcome on request. LGBTQ+ friendly.
We are a professional couple and live with our two dogs, Noodle the Goldendoodle and Nacho the Cockapoo. We've lived here for 9 years now and love the small town feel of Penarth but also the bright lights and hub-bub of the city nearby. Rwy’n siarad Cymraeg. I speak Welsh.
Great location for events in Cardiff. 7min walk to train station (Dingle Road), 10mins (2 stops) by train into Cardiff Central station. 10min walk to local town (Penarth) which has pubs/restaurants. Penarth also has an esplanade, pier, beach, marina. You can also walk to Cardiff Bay in about 40min over the Barrage, or catch the WaterBus (when in service) to the Bay. 20mins drive from Cardiff Airport. Neighbours are friendly.
