A beautiful, friendly, very peaceful country house on the outskirts of Aldeburgh overlooking RSBP reserve, with views across to the sea and Thorpeness. Adjoining Priors Oak Butterfly and Wildlife gardens (open to guests). Perfect holiday for walking, golf, bird watching, sailing, Snape Music and the Heritage Coast and great pubs and eateries.
Sadly Lucie, the main host, lives in South Africa the majority of the time. However Paul (the full time gardener at neighbouring Priors Oak), and Eliza (who lives at Windy Ridge on the other side of Tresco) are on hand to help out where needed.
RSPB North Warren reserve is a two-minute walk over the road. Aldeburgh and Thorpeness golf courses are both on the doorstep. It is a 40 minute walk across the reserve to Thorpeness and the sea. Tresco is beside Priors Oak (locally reknown wildlife garden) and visitors have access on request. Bus stop 100 yards down the road. Aldeburgh town centre one mile. Dog walkers paradise, lots of circular walks and a bittern can be heard from the house in the Spring. Wildlife and birds galore.
