We look forward to welcoming you to our quirky smallholding, The Farm has views extending up and down the Sugar Loaf Mountain and full Black Mountain Range. You are welcome to walk around the 35 acres of the Farm to enjoy the scenery.
We have Peacocks, Peahens, Chickens, Sheep, Horses, Goats, a Pig, beehives and our much-loved tribe of dogs and cat to watch and enjoy. Our dogs are extremely friendly and love meeting our guests. You can even book to walk the pigs payable locally.
Numerous walks, hikes and cycle / biking tracks from the door of your cottage.
The Usk Valley Trail can be joined in our field with direct access onto the Bryn Hill with fantastic views of Llangors Lake, Brecon, and one of Wales’ most popular mountain, Pen-Y-Fan.
Mountain Bike regional trails start 200 yards away from the farm and The Taff Trail starts approximately 5 minutes on bike from the farm. The Brecon to Monmouthshire Canal is within walking distance where you can walk, cycle or simple enjoy watching the boats and ducks. Blyn-Y-Glyn waterfalls are about 10 minutes by car passing the spectacular Talybont-on-Usk Reservoir on route.
Te lodge has its own Hot Tub, BBQ, FirPit and sitting out area.

Local Village and Surrounding Area
The local village has 3 Pubs, a Café, Bike & Boat hire, a Shop, a Post Office along with a state-of-the-art Bike Hub.

The neighbouring town, Abergavenny, which is likely to be on route to travelling to the Farm has a Waitrose, Morrison’s and Aldi’s.
Another neighbouring town, Crickhowell, has one of the best independently owned shop streets in the UK. It is home to a lovely Bakery, two Butchers and an array of bespoke shops.
The last village you will pass through on your way to us is Talybont-on-Usk, which has a local store shop which sell many local produce, including take away food and has a Café.
