This part of Snowdonia is a climbers, walkers and cyclists' paradise with ample footpaths, renowned mountains, forests and lakes all around you.
There are plenty of walks available from scenic valley walks alongside rivers, to scrambles up the high peaks of Snowdonia. And of course, Snowdon is on the doorstep.
There are mountain bike routes in Beddgelert Forest (where bike hire is available), and more challenging mountain biking can be found nearby at the Marin Trail near Betws-y-Coed and Plas-y-Brenin near Dolgellau.
Alternatively, you can just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery that Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales have to offer – from the lakes and mountains of Snowdonia to the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. There are sandy beaches just 8 miles from Perthi.
