Ty'r Pwmp is a modern converted old pumping station. The cottage is set away from the main road behind a grove of trees, and has easy access to St Davids, the Cathedral City 2 miles away and the prety fishing village of Solva which is 1 mile down the road. Both places can also be reached along the coastal footpath which is 5 minutes walk away from the cottage. There is also a small pebbly beach at this access point. Beds come ready made up. Mobile reception is fine for EE and Three networks in the house while Vodaphone and O2 users will have to go into the garden to get a signal. Fibre Broad Band is provided in the cottage.
We have been letting out the cottage for many years now and have many return guests who come back year after year. Some visit several times a year.
The cottage lies in the countryside with St Davids 2 miles away, being the main centre for services such as a food store, bakery, bank etc. This part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is best suited to the outdoorsy sort of people. People who enjoy being out and about in nature, whether active like jogging or more passive like taking the dog along the coast path or down to the beach. There is a bus stop about 50 yards/meters from the house.
