Tucked in the heart of the Norfolk Brecks, Vicarage House & Pool House is a luxury eleven-bed property - it's very 'Pride and Prejudice', although the Bennets wouldn’t have got to splash around in a heated outdoor pool! A 6 acre slice of Norfolk envelopes this holiday home with a huge front lawn & magnificent landscaped gardens. Take advantage of the fantastic facilities including a heated outdoor pool (1 Apr-30 Oct) & private hard tennis court, as well as football, badminton, croquet & boules. A vast games room is situated in the Pool House, with table tennis, sofas, a TV/DVD player & other games. Life is easy here. Vicarage House sleeps 9 in the main house, with room for a further 6 in the Pool House. The spacious interiors provide an ideal setting for families & groups of friends, whether for a special celebration or just for a wonderful holiday. Celebrate together in the large dining room or an after meal get-together in the sumptuous drawing room. And, if the weather’s kind, you can spill out onto one of four terraces wrapped around the property. With rattan furniture & two BBQs, you can capture the sunshine any time of the day or catch a classic Norfolk sunset.

The owners positively encourage you to get out & about, providing 9 adult + 4 kid’s bikes, as well as printed cycling routes. On the doorstep is Thetford Forest Park offering 50,000 acres of safe, prime cycling & walking trails. Within the Forest, enjoy High Lodge with its excellent trails for all abilities & Go Ape! Alternatively, walkers can explore the nearby Peddars Way, a Roman road consisting of leafy paths & tree-lined trails which joins the Norfolk Coastal Path. There is a public house within a short walk & local shops at Watton (6 mi). Thetford (8.8 mi) is an ancient market town with an interesting historical past. The Georgian town of Wymondham offers a variety of boutiques & gift shops. Norwich is 25 minutes' drive as is the Georgian town of Bury St Edmunds. Newmarket, with its 2 racecourses & busy racing calendar, is 40 minutes. Families will enjoy a sunny day on the famous beaches at Brancaster & Holkham, about an hour’s drive. There is easy access to the gardens and famous historical houses of Norfolk and Suffolk such as Sandringham & Oxburgh Hall. And then there’s St George’s Distillery, vineyards, Banham Zoo and Bressingham Steam Museum to explore.
