Staying at West Knole House in South Somerset provides you with a quiet location yet easily accessible to enough places to provide you with somewhere new to explore each day of your short break or holiday. Whether your interests are Historic Buildings, Aircraft, Cars or Golf there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. That is if you will want to go far at all. West Knole House is a beautiful 15th Century (1481), Grade II Listed home, on the edge of a quintessentially English hamlet. The property boasts a fine thatched roof, witches scratching and Turret Stone Stairs. Accommodation is restricted to two self-contained, self-catering barns: Paddock View (which has one bedroom and a bathroom) and Stable View, which has two bedrooms, one on the first floor which shares the ensuite with the ground floor bedroom. Paddock View has a super kingsize bed while Stable View has a kingsize bed with twin beds on the first floor.

Somerset has a surprising amount of places of interest to offer guests. Knole is a little known village set in the Somerset countryside south of the county yet easily accessible from the A303 which is the main route from London (M3) to the West Country. A great stop of point for travelling on to Devon and Cornwall. There are many National Trust properties in the area which guests generally enjoy, although a car is most definitely recommended.
