I have been living on Exmoor for over 15 yrs running most of that time running a successful B&B. I recently moved from the southern side of the moor to Lynton and decided to continue running a B&B and Shepherd Hut. Which means I can continue sharing my love of Exmoor and North Devon coast. While I no longer have horses I do will still have dogs with Betsy and Bunty my Springer Spaniels living in the farm house with me. Your well behaved dog (max 1) is more than welcome here at West Lyn Farm please let me know at the time of booking.
Situated on the Devon side of Exmoor in England there is plenty do to. From visiting the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth and taking a trip on the dramatic Cliff Railway. A short drive from Lynton and Lynmouth are the small rocky hidden beaches of Woody Bay, Lee Bay and Heddon Mouth all well worth a visit. For serious walkers the English South West Costal Path is a stunning and dramatic path to follow. The East Lyn river and Brendon Valley where the book Lorna Doone was set, is just 10 minutes drive. Here you can visit the small villages of Brendon, Malmsmead and Oare. Another dramatic walk can be found at Watersmeet. Various paths leading along the rivers or up into the woods. Refreshmens can be found at the Watersmeet National Trust cafe. The Exmoor towns of Dulverton, Porlock, Porlock Weir and Dunster are all within an easy drive.
