Only 30 mins from Glasgow Airport and just a 5 minute drive from Balloch, where you can pick up supplies or enjoy a meal, this newly built steading style storey and a half holiday lodge is located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park on the National Number 7 Cycle Route from Balloch to Drymen. It is as great place to come to explore the surrounding countryside and is an ideal base for visiting the nearby picturesque villages of Drymen and Balmaha on the East side of Loch Lomond and Luss on the west bank of the loch.
This modern 4 bedroom property has a spacious living/dining area with a comfortable corner sofa and separate sofa bed on which to relax while watching the flat screen smart TV. The large dining table which seats ten is perfect for a family celebration or a reunion with friends. There is one double bedroom with a fitted wardrobe on the ground floor with three more bedrooms upstairs. The ground floor bedroom is next door to a bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs the king and twin bedroom both have ensuites. The fourth bedroom is another double bedroom. Downstairs the modern, well-equipped kitchen has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric oven and ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. Here French doors lead out to the private patio area where you can relax in the hot tub within its own bespoke gazebo, take time out in the covered seating area or have your meal at the picnic table after making use of the brick-built coal BBQ. The hot tub is available for an additional charge. Please contact us for details. You also need to bring coals if you want to use the BBQ.

Boasting beautiful countryside views this property is the perfect place to come to relax and explore the scenic surroundings and is an ideal base for visiting the nearby picturesque villages of Drymen and Balmaha on the East side of loch Lomond and Luss on the west bank of the loch. Balloch which is on the south-west shores of the loch has a train station and supermarket. Close to the shops is Balloch Castle Country Park, Loch Lomond's only country park with impressive views of the loch and its surroundings where there are nature trails to follow or you can just enjoy a leisurely stroll over some of its 200 acres. Across the loch from the country park is Cameron House, the 5 star golf and spa resort where you can treat yourself to a day spa package, enjoy fine dining or book a mountain biking or golf package. The John Muir Way from the shores of Loch Lomond at Balloch to the popular Victorian holiday resort of Helensburgh is popular with walkers and cyclists as is the National Number 7 Cycle Route from Balloch to Drymen which passes by the road to this holiday lodge. If you want to 'bag' a Munro the main path up Ben Lomond, the most southerly Munro in Scotland, can be found at Rowardennan on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond where you can enjoy fabulous views of the Loch from its summit. If your preference is shopping Loch Lomond Shores is a short drive from the village of Balloch. This 5 star visitor attraction is surrounded by scenic views, where you can purchase high street brands as well as designer boutique goods. There you can also book to visit the Loch Lomond Sealife Aquarium, the Bird of Prey Centre or Treezone. For those who want to spend time on the loch there are many watersports available or you can simply relax and enjoy a scenic cruise.
