Lane and I wish all visitors to "Whitehaven" a very warm and friendly Yorkshire welcome, we are a small guest house offering a home from home stay, where a more personal touch is important to us and where nothing is too much trouble. Come and sample some genuine Yorkshire hospitality.

Property information

Whitehaven itself, is an Edwardian building, dating back to 1902 and was actually built by one of my ancestors, it retains much of its charm and boasts many of its original period features, it has been renovated over the years to produce a property with a contemporary twist, combining old with new to meet the requirements of todays discerning traveller. All rooms are decorated to a high standard and each room has its own unique signature.

Whitehaven is situated on Whitby's popular West Cliff, only a short walk from all the local attractions, Beach, Harbour and Town Centre. For those energetic guests wishing to partake in more vigorous pastimes, the guest house is only a two minute walk from Whitby's Leisure Centre, boasting indoor swimming pools, fully equipped gym and sports hall.
