Woodlands is a step back in time to long summers of croquet on the lawn and champagne cocktails on the terrace before supper and a glass of brandy by the fire before retiring for the day. Built in 1905 as a gentlemen’s country residence the house sits at the end of a quiet road ten minutes walk from picturesque Giggleswick village. Beyond the gates the Yorkshire Dales National Park stretches for miles.

I fell in love with the Yorkshire Dales and Giggleswick in 2005, spending most weekends here since. I found Woodlands in 2009. When I'm not looking after the house I'm in the great outdoors walking, running, on the bike or just hanging out with my dog Olive. If you're a runner I'm usually up for a trip round the fells.

Giggleswick is a pretty village with two nice pubs and shop. The lovely market town of Settle is a twenty minute walk across the river. The house is served by Settle and Giggleswick staitions.
