Y Bwthyn is a delightful, single storey detached stone cottage, close to the owner's house, in lovely gardens surrounded by pleasant rural countryside. This is an ideal location for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula with easy access to the Snowdonia National Park. 2 miles from Pwllheli, 9 miles from Abersoch, 17 miles from Caernarfon. This property is suitable for the less able (but not fully wheelchair accessible). The cosy lounge has French windows leading to a private patio overlooking open countryside, TV/DVD/Freeview/CD player, books and games.The kitchen /diner has a superb inglenook fireplace with a multi fuel stove (logs provided in winter), an antique table, chairs and an oak settle. Laundry facilities available, free of charge. WiFi is also available. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The bath/shower room has grab rails and an over-bath seat and toilet frame available. Gas central heating. Outside is a large lawn with a fishpond and garden furniture. There is secure bike storage and space for a small boat.

Y Bwthyn has views of Snowdonia from the garden. There are many lovely beaches and attractions nearby including the lively town of Pwllheli with its marina, beaches, shops and cafes. Criccieth with its famous castle, 6 miles, and the popular coastal resort of Abersoch for watersports. For the more active there is superb walking on the Wales Coast Path, rural cycling, sailing, windsurfing, horse riding and golf. Also there is no light pollution - a 'dark skies' area, ideal for star-gazing!
