Y Sied is a pretty stone cottage, on the outskirts of Newport, just a 10 minute down hill walk to its bustling streets and range of facilities. Nestled next door to the owner’s house, it has been lovingly converted from an original stone barn with traditional Pembrokeshire roof to provide charming and characterful accommodation with slate floors and oak A-frame beams. Step into the open plan sitting/dining/bedroom comfortably furnished in soft natural tones reflecting the colours of the mountains. One step leads up to the beautifully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and quality wet room. The French door opens to your own enclosed paved terrace where your can dine alfresco on a summer’s evening. Ideal for keen walkers, the area is criss-crossed with footpaths, one across the road leads up onto the common, to Carn Ingli (mountain of angels), and the Preselli hills, the views that await are well worth the climb and the area bounds in bird and wildlife.
