Right in the very centre of the City, just a stone's throw from the Minster, York Staycation is a new build studio apartment where you'll find everything you need for the perfect stay. Parking in the car park outside the apartment building is included in the price (a significant daily cost in central York), where there are also electric car charging points too (BP pulse - we advise you get their app to your phone before your stay if you intend to use the charge points). You can also extend your visit to York before or after your check in/out times for a small additional charge to extend your use of the car park. Inside, there's a king size bed, comfy sofa, free Wifi and a Smart Tv with access to all your favourite channels that you may have your own subscription to such as Netflix etc, as well as BBC iplayer ITVX and all free subscriptions. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, dining table, even a washer/dryer and everything you'll need to cater onsite with a treat bag of our favourite Yorkshire goodies to get you started. With fluffy towels in the shower room, and a private courtyard space outside, York Staycation is an ideal space for both shorter and longer stays. The apartment benefits from full underfloor central heating to keep it cosy all year round. Whilst this apartment is ideal for two, we can accommodate a child (up to 12 years old) as a third guest with a travel cot for free, or fold out bed for an additional cost. The apartment is close to bars, restaurants, theatre, culture and arts, and the Museum gardens, yet our guests compliment the quiet area of the apartment itself. Tastefully decorated, and regularly refurbished to keep it looking like new, this apartment makes it a lovely special occasion stay, and we can provide extras such as room decoration, cakes, flowers etc for your arrival for a small extra charge.

Ruth and her husband Andrew live locally and are on hand to answer any queries. They know York very well, and are happy to recommend places to go whatever the occasion. The property has been owned by the couple and a holiday let since it was built in 2021. They are managing the property themselves to offer you the very best prices and service directly. The property is cleaned and laundered by a professional local company.

The City of York speaks for itself, and this apartment is right at the very centre. Just a 10 minute walk from York Station, you don't need to have a car to explore the very best this city has to offer from this fabulous base, but if you do have a car, the parking's covered for free with a parking pass that covers all of the City of York Car Parks including the Bootham Row one, right outside the apartment, a significant daily saving compared to other properties in this location. 4 minutes walk to the Minster, and even closer to fabulous bars, restaurants, museums and the Theatre Royal. York's only Michelin starred restaurant Roots is in the very next street, and you can walk the city walls from the end of the road. You have a Sainsbury's and Tesco Express very nearby for any self catering needs, and a cash point within 100 metres. Very close to Bootham Bar, the apartment is not quite within the old city walls, but very much in the historic part of the city, yet having all the benefits of a new build property. York is a City that many people return to after their first visit, especially when they find the perfect place to stay, and we are fortunate to have welcomed many of our guests for return visits. There is no end of things to see and do, and festivals and events continually through the year from York Races to The Christmas Markets, Viking Festival, Food and Drink Festival, Illuminating York, and much much more, there is never a bad time to visit this beautiful and historic city, once the capital of England.
