The brand new "ADMIRAL'S VILLA" was completed in 2022; ... one can arguably claim it's a vessel anchored by the waves, lying on 1.6 acres (6.500 square meters) NE facing land plot, benefited by an ABSOLUTELY unobstructed, panoramic and amazing VIEW to the eternal blue of the Aegean Sea...
The interior is carefully arranged to offer comfortable living, with three en suite bedrooms, while lighting and carefully selected antiques, artworks, handmade fabrics embroidered by his wife Aristi, always with respect to the nautical island style of the villa and the local surroundings.
In addition, the villa offers much-appreciated silence which may be interrupted by the sounds of seagulls, sea winds and whispers of the waves, while, at the same time, it takes only a 5-6 minutes' walk down to the beautiful fishing village of LOUTRA blessed with its large sandy beach, the natural source of hot springs and of course, with with restaurants and bars by/on the sea, with local tickling delicacies and views..
Antonios RIZOS,was born and spent his childhood in Kythnos; enlisted in the NAVAL ACADEMY of HELLENIC NAVY at the age of 16 thus exhibiting a novel-like 35-year-long career, full of incredible maritime experiences and emotions, after having command and served on almost all types of warships during his era. Today being a retired admiral, he docked at his birthplace, in order to always have a direct view on his much beloved sea. Apart from a vast number of vivid sea-sprayed stories that he always happily shares with family and guests, he spends time on his artistic concerns, mainly as a mosaics artist, as it is clearly reflected on his newly-built and personally decorated ''ADMIRAL'S VILLA'', off the picturesque village of Loutra, Kythnos, soaring right above the waves of the Aegean Sea.
The villa is quietly located right off the picturesque village of Loutra is only 12 km North from the port of Merichas (about 15-20 mins drive) . Loutra beach is the main tourist attraction of the island because of its thermal springs. These thermal springs are said to have healing properties because they are very rich in minerals. They can reach the temperature of 52oC, producing steam when getting in touch with the cool water of the Aegean Sea. The baths are very well organized and very popular since (a spa known for more than 5 million- 6 million years)
In a short distance from the Villa one can also find Agios Sostis and Potamia beach, two of the most beautiful beaches of the island.
Furthermore our island also features remarkable ancient History, having over 300 island churches and sights worth visiting, fantastic footpaths displaying rare views and over 90 beaches one can easily drive to with crystal clear waters, a package offering a completely natural life and environment.
Chora is the capital of the island and it is located 7 km away from Loutra.
We wish you a good pleasant stay...!!!
Best regards, Antonios RIZOS.
