The beautiful medieval village of Koskinou is located 6 km from the city center and is built on top of a hill overlooking the east coast of Rhodes. The Koskinou Traditional House offers relaxation and comfort to those aiming to escape the intense rhythms of the city. Designed to meet every need, with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and two traditional bathrooms. With the possibility of hosting up to six people Koskinou Traditional House consists of two autonomous lofts that share a traditional yard – identical to the houses built back in the days. As you enter the house, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils and electrical appliances (oven, microwave, kettle, washing machine, etc.). There are plenty of interesting sights around the village. The small domed church of Agia Irini (Saint Irini) (estimated to be over 200 years old) and Agios Loukas (Saint Loukas), a small temple dated to the early 4th century. The biggest church in the village of Koskinou is the church of Panagia (Virgin Mary). A small castle of the Knights is located on the outskirts of the village and many ancient tombs, some of them placed in boulders that can be viewed throughout the village. The thermal springs of Kallithea and the beaches of Faliraki are only 2 km away from Koskinou.
