From the cobblestone street where it stands to its stone build facade, Casa di Plaka is located in a truly picturesque location inside the famous settlement of Plaka, just steps away from the sea, enjoying breathtaking views of Spinalonga, which is exactly opposite to it. In-villa room service is available all day with a simple call through the owner's cafe, conveniently located right next to the villa. Alternatively, you can visit the cafe and enjoy meals overlooking the sea. -Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the “Climate Crisis Resilience Charge,” requiring a fee of 10 euros per night from March to October and 4 euros per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.
Casa di Plaka is located in the Plaka village overlooking the historic islet of Spinalonga and being within walking distance from restaurants, shops and cafés . Plaka is a quiet traditional village just a few minutes distance from the cosmopolitan village Elounda. Plaka is ideal for those who wish to spend their holidays near the sea in a place that is neither noisy nor isolated. During your stay wander among the alleys, blend in with the locals and take a look at the small souvenir’s shops of all kind. Guests can enjoy the warm sun of the beautiful Cretan sky at the beaches close to Plaka, visit the famous island of Spinalonga with regular daily trips, to walk on the peninsula Kolokitha and explore many small villages in the mainland, offering a trip in past times.
