My name is Katerina. I was born in Chania town. Over the past 15 years I have been living in Kastelli, together with my lovely husband (Fondas) and our 2 kids. We have been running a greek taverna (Castello), for more than 20 years, always treating everybody both with delicious Cretan delicacies and a big warm, bright smile. Building Castello Villa we wanted everybody to get to learn about our hometown Kastelli. The place that we love so much. Its qualities that make it so special in our hearts. Castello villa virtually sits on top of the Venetian Walls of Kissamos’ Castle. Due to its unique location it was built with respect to its surroundings, both history and environment, mating in an amazing way the past and the present. Stone, wood and light are its dominant architectural aspects. Whereas in the interior minimalism along with contemporary aspects aspire to offer a comfortable and luxurious stay for a family of up to 5 persons.

The surroundings of Castello Villa hold a long long history. Right on our premises, you will see part of Kissamos’ Venetian Castle Walls. One of the most wonderful aspects of your accommodation. Addittionally, right below our wonderful 75 square meters’ porch with its enchanting views of Kissamos’ gulf, you can see the remnants of the old agricultural union’s facilities. Telonio beach, the most famous beach of Kasteli, is within walking distance, no more than 500 meters away (less than 300 meters in straight line). Approximately 180 meters from us (40 meters in straight line) you can find a big supermarket, whereas in less than 5 minutes walk, you can also find many tavernas such Castello Grill House, or a great selection of mediterranean and fish restaurants and tavernas, lining up by the coastal road. If you cater a bakery or a pastry, you shall find one of the best in our neighbourhood also, less than 270 meters away. Whereas most of the cafeterias for a refreshing drink or a coffee are within the same distance, too. Now, if you are interested into some shopping, please be careful because you might be too close to some of the nicest shops that Kasteli hosts! ;)
