Agios Onoufrios is a small seaside village of Cape Akrotiri, which is located 8km north of Chania. In a walking distance of just 11 minutes, you can find the scenic beach of Agios Onoufrios, awarded with a blue flag, while nearby there are many other beautiful and well-known beaches, such as the Seitan Limania, the beaches of Kalathas, Stavros and Marathi. For daily necessities, the small town of Kounoupidiana is only a short drive away (2 Kms), offering a nice variety of shops. In the area, there are doctors, pediatricians, pharmacies, banks, ATM machines, supermarkets, pastry shops, bakeries, hair and beauty salons, gas stations. There are also several leisure facilities you can try nearby, such as tennis courts, gyms, sailing, scuba diving daily excursions, boat rides, bowling alleys and playgrounds. Reference must also be made to the restaurants of the region, in which someone can get to know and enjoy the Greek cuisine not only through traditional dishes but also through more gastronomically bold choices.
