Cliff House #2 offers you a fantastic penthouse suite with a panoramic view of the entire Argolic gulf - minutes from the historic town of Nafplio. With architecturally designed ocean views from each room, enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Guests have unhindered access to a private entrance which leads to a pristine clear blue pebble beach located across the street & just 66 steps below. An ideal place for families with children or romantic weekends.
I immigrated to San Francisco, California in the early 1960s from a small Greek village nearby (population under 300). I am a retired Mason, and I built this private home for my children (and grandchildren) to enjoy. I am an avid recycler, and I enjoy horticulture on my "hobby" private home/farm. My private home is located in front of the beach facing the Argolic Gulf and on my property, I grow - olives, oranges, tangerines, lemons, persimmons, grapes, figs, pomegranates, quince and basil. I also keep a few free-range chickens to enjoy free eggs for private consumption. I have been an AirBnB Super Host for 6 years (4.99 star rating out of 5.0 with over 80 reviews) - new host with Booking.
Located on the border between the state of Argolida (ancient Myceneans civilization and home to "Jason and the Argonauts"), and the state of Arcadia (a region in the central Peloponnese, in Greek mythology, it was the home of the gods Hermes and Pan), there are so many areas of interest nearby including Nafplio, Argos (the oldest continuously lived city in Greece), Myceneans, Ancient Corinth, Epidaurus, Tolo and even ancient Olympia. If you are interested in seeing "Greece - Beyond the Obvious," try a stay in the Peloponnese.
