Hello and welcome to Dioskouroi Apartments. We are a family-run business, built and established by George, and his brother Manolis. George is the face of the business and has run the property with the help of his mother, who is also an excellent chef for the last 20 years. Time has passed in a blink of an eye and George will be the main person welcoming you nowadays. He loves to host travellers from all over the world and always has an interesting anecdote or a historic fact to hand. He will do everything to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Dioskouroi is conveniently located in the middle of town with easy walking distance of fewer than 5 mins to all local attractions - the beach, local bus stop, supermarkets, bakery, and many coffee shops and Greek Taverns. The neighborhood is quiet during the day and night as it's away from the busy beachfront.
Our property is the perfect starting point to explore other areas of Crete. Discover Heraklion's (23km) historic seaport, the local Museum of El Greco or Museum of Religious Art and its neighbouring historic town Knossos. Or along the coast to Rethymno (57km) and the Venetian town of Chania (120km). South of the Island to the former Hippie caves of Matala (77km) and the lovely seaport village of Agia Galini (85km). Drive up to the Lasithi Plateau (80km) east of the island with its famous caves and gorges or enjoy some of the lovely beaches near Agios Nikolaos (84km) in Mirabello Bay. Alternatively, there are a lot of watersports like scuba diving, snorkling or jet ski available on our local beaches of Agia Pelagia, Psaromoura and Peninsula.
