New for 2016, a great little family bungalow right next to the beach. Sleeps up to 6 guests (4 in beds, 2 on sofa bed). This is a detached home on a large private garden plot. Originally, a traditional fisherman's bungalow, it has been recently renovated to give you all the mod cons you need, in a rustic rural setting. Entry to the house is through a large vine-shaded patio area with decorative plants, BBQ and outside dining suite, and views to the beachfront. Inside, there is a TV lounge (and free Wi-Fi) with big comfy sofa, dining area, and fully equipped kitchenette, plus shower room/wc. Bedroom 1 is a large double bedroom with lots of storage space and en-suite shower room/wc. Bedroom 2 has full size bunk beds suitable for adults or children. In addition the lounge has a large comfy sofa bed with sprung mattresses to accommodate 2 extra guests. All services and bills are included in the price, so there are no nasty surprises. All bedding and bathroom towels are provided, and professionally laundered and pressed weekly. A free welcome pack is provided to get you started. Or we can provide a free shopping service. The Vineyard is the perfect base for your family's holiday, with a choice of 3 of the best family beaches on Rhodes, each with their own distinctive character. Peaceful Massari Beach is on your doorstep (100 meters from the house), and the beautiful bay of Haraki, overlooked by Pheraklos Castle is only a 5 minute walk away (350 meters away). Here, you will find a selection of friendly, family run taverns, restaurants and tourist shops / mini-markets. The golden sands of Agathi Beach are just a 5 minute drive. The safe, shallow waters here make it the perfect beach for younger children, and there are water sports and great snorkeling for bigger kids! There are also 3 reasonably priced beach taverns, toilets, showers and changing booths. The ancient capital of Lindos and stunning St. Paul's Bay are only 10 minutes drive. Half way up the eastern coast, Malona is the perfect base from which to explore the whole island. Nothing is more than 1 hour away. Haraki has a choice of a dozen good restaurants, 3 small bars, and 4 mini markets. The neighboring villages of Malona and Massari have an English speaking pharmacist, and a post-office, excellent local butcher and 2 medium size supermarkets.
