Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Helianthos Villas is a small complex of three independent and beautifully designed properties.Each villa features elegant decor, a charming wrap-around terrace and access to a spacious shared swimming pool. Each villa comfortably accommodates up to five guests and offers generous balconies with unobstructed views of the valley, along with a sunny terrace perfect for relaxing. The ground floor includes a cozy living and dining area with a fireplace, a sofa bed, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and a small WC — all adorned with traditional furnishings that add a touch of rustic charm. A set of wooden stairs leads to the upper level, where you'll find a serene double bedroom and a mezzanine with two single beds, accessible via removable wooden stairs. A spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a large veranda with stunning views of the White Mountains complete the upper floor. Guests also enjoy access to a large shared swimming pool with sunbeds , a lush garden, and several fully furnished shaded areas perfect for unwinding outdoors.

Douliana is a small traditional village of Vamos region, only 22 km. the city of Chania, very close to many beaches. This village (among a total of 300 for Greece) has been awarded the title of the national conservation area of beauty. The old houses have been reconstructed and they contribute to the traditional atmosphere. Surrounded by forest, the nearest beach Kera is 2.5 km in distance, and 3 km from the organized sandy beaches and of Almirida. The surrounding villages of Vamos, Kalives, Gavalohori, and Almirida have vivid lives and many attractions, especially through spring, summer and autumn. In Douliana there are two taverns with the traditional Cretan cuisine and a mini market with local products.
