'Les Amandiers' apartments, are located at the end of Kanoni at Corfu, a 10 minute walk away from one of the islands must go to places, here you can see: Corfu 's emblem 'Mouse Island' in front of Kanoni beach, with the view of the planes flying overhead onto the runway. There is a little fishing port and the Vlahairna Covent, surrounded by water. There are mini-markets, restaurants and cafe's with amazing views. Corfu town and airport are only a 40 minute walk away. 10-15 minute drive. Almost next door is the historical Cassopitras Covent, full of historical artefacts. A little further towards town, about 2km is Mon Repos Palace, the birth place of Prince Philip of England and the Roman remains of Paleopolis, 2nd Century AC. The grounds are open to the public and makes for a lovely walk in the wondrous gardens and secret pathways one of which leads to a small beach.
