Little Blue is located in the seaside village of Kato Zakros, on a hill right next to the renowned Minoan Palace overlooking the sea. The house is within walking distance from both the beach and the tavernas (500m) and the Minoan Palace (160m). It provides its guests privacy and a beautiful veranda to relax and enjoy the view.
Little Blue can comfortably accommodate two guests, ideally a couple (1 double bed with a Sealy matress). During their stay, they will have the chance to experience the ultimate connection to the Cretan landscape and seascape.
In the terrace, they can take great delight in gazing at the sunrise and the clear night sky, as well as bask in the unique sense of peace and quiet provided by the view to the bay and the proximity to the great Minoan civilization.
Little Blue is a part of a 1940's originally built family house, used as a farmhouse. Grandparents used to stay here during the summer harvest time. At those times, bathrooms were placed outside of the main houses. After the great Minoan Palace was found and excavated, any expansions or reconstractions of buildings close to the palace were forbidden by law. Therefore, the bathroom is located outside the house (20m away, like the old times) though it is private and fully renovated.
