The Paros house Casa Mira is situated in the quaint village of Marpissa on Paros Island. Marpissa perches on the hill of Kefalos, overlooking the seaside settlement and fishing port of Piso Livadi.
The village arranges its whitewashed cubic houses, some dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, amphitheatrically along narrow streets, surrounded by churches and windmills—a typical architectural style seen throughout the Cycladic Islands. At the hilltop, you can explore the ruins of an ancient castle and visit the monastery of Agios Antonios.
We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Paros to its fullest potential.
Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Paros. If you need help renting a car in Paros, just let us know.
