Mata’s house is a private house built in 2016 in the village of Ano Gatzea with respect to the traditional architecture of Pelion. At a distance of 20 km from the city of Volos and in a place with easy access you will find the two-storey house surrounded by nature with wonderful views of the Pagasitic Gulf and the mountain. An environment ideal for peace and tranquility that can accommodate families, couples and groups of friends.

The layout and location of the house makes it ideal for holidays all year round. The summer months are suitable for excursions to the famous and awarded with a blue flag, beaches of the Pagasitikos Gulf and the Aegean Sea, for horse rides, bike rides, walks on the stone paths of the village, hiking on the beautiful paths, mountaineering and fishing. The nearest beach is 4 km away by car. During the winter months, you can enjoy the tranquility and relaxation offered by the Pelion climate and visit well-known traditional Pelion villages to taste the local cuisine and the local wines and tsipouro. For the lovers of winter sports, there is the ski center of Pelion in Chania, where you can choose your ski ride or your coffee in "Agriolefkes", the traditional chalet of the ski center. The Volos-Milies traditional railway, better known as Mountzouris, is a tourist attraction of the villages of Pelion. The railway was built in two stages, between 1894 and 1903. It was a reference point for the area for 80 years. Nowadays, the train continues to go up and down the villages of Pelion and there is a stop in Ano Gatzea.
