Very practical location, 50 meters from the promenade and beach. Right in front of the apartment it is ideal for swimming and other water sports. There are many tavernas and cafes along the waterfront around the apartment. It is also just 250 meters from the village's main square, shops and bars. 35 minutes from Athens airport and 50 minutes to Athens centre. If you have a car there is plenty of space to park on the street in front of the apartment.
I am from Ireland but live here in Nea Makri.
The bus from the main square (250 meters from the apartment), goes directly into the centre of Athens along the classic marathon route and takes about an hour. In the area around Marathon bay there are many beach bars, water sports centres, archaeological sites, hiking trails, mountain biking trails and the beautiful nature reserve of Schinias.
