Nerotrivia is a beautiful hill village at 240-300m of elevation, blessed with cool breezes during the hot days of summer, while still being within 10 minutes driving distance to gorgeous beaches. It oversees the north euboean gulf and is surrounded by pine-filled vivid green slopes. It is 100km from Athens (122km from the Athens airport) and 26km from the city of Chalkida. Local delicacies include the "tiganopsomo" (fried feta cheese-filled bread), delicious daily fished fish and grilled bovine-pork-chicken-lamb dishes from local farms. Most transportation is dependent on private or rented vehicles. There is a local bus service from and to Chalkida twice per day on weekdays only. No service during weekends. There is also a nearby taxi service and a local taxi driver.
