Beautiful apartment with large balcony overlooking the sea and mountains. Stunning scenery. 5 minutes drive from the bustling sea side resort of Georgioupolis where restaurants, bars, fun activities for all ages can be found. The apartment is located in the tranquil village of Exopoli in the beautiful Apokoronous region with it’s breathtaking beauty on your doorstep.This makes it ideal also for spring time vacations when the hills are full of blossom and the temperature perfect for walking. The property is in a small private community and has a residential caretaker and manager. It has wonderful views from the large balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy, The swimming pool which is free to use for guests, also offers stunning views.
I work in healthcare. You will be met by the co-host Tzornella who will be on site and able to assist you with anything during your stay.
Quiet, tranquil. On a hillside in a quiet village. Good for walking. The seaside town of Georgioupolis is a 5 minute drive with many restaurants, shops and a beautiful long sandy beach. There is also a small fishing port. The larger town of Rethymnon is a 20 minute drive with its beautiful historic fortress and old town, and the larger city of Chania also a 30 minute drive, with its famous Venetian harbour, beautiful old town, restaurants and shops. Lake Kournas is also not far (7,5km) and offers beautiful scenery, canoeing, swimming and pedal boats. Parking on the property is not a problem. Like most of Crete, roads around the property tend to be narrow so a smaller size car more suitable. It is a short downhill drive to Georgioupolis and also convenient for the National highway. Chania airport about 45 minutes drive.
