It’s Maria here, born and raised in Athens. Due to my father’s roots in Chania, I have always had a strong connection to Crete and spent my summers in Chania. During my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, I began hosting guests in my family’s building, and ever since, I’ve fallen in love with meeting new people and creating memorable guest experiences. I love to explore new places, savoring delicious food, and capturing moments through photography.

We are in the heart of the Old Town. The city of Chania will take you on a journey through the centuries. Wandering through the streets of the old town of Chania you will find yourself in a time capsule that has been touched by Greeks, Venetians, Turks, Jews and Egyptians. It is no coincidence since the city of Chania is built on the ruins of ancient Kydonia, founded by Minos. In the alleys of the old town beats a 5,000-year-old heart. In the alleys of Topana, among the 17th and 18th century Venetian mansions, you will be overwhelmed by the multitude of ornate doors, vibrant colors, plants, mansions, stone balconies and arches, and you will get lost in the images, smells, and tastes with the blue sea and pink sunsets as a backdrop.
