IMPORTANT NOTICE: Although we are not a big business, we care for our guest the most. Thus, we keep closed/exclude a couple of days prior and after your staying at the apartment. Moreover we sterilize it thoroughly, before each arrival of new guests. The Serenity View is a holiday home located in Kouses, a small quiet village at the countryside of South Crete. The apartment is having two different terraces both with excellent view to Messara plain. It is also an ideal place if you want to relax. We also offer two parking slots exactly near the house. The nearest airport is the "Nikos Kazantzakis Heraklio Airport", located 58km from Kouses village. You can easily reach Matala beach (10 km away), Komos beach (9 km away) or even Agiofarago Gorge (15km away) and Kali limenes beach (15km away). Some more interesting places to visit in Mesara is the Festos Minoan archaeological site (4km away), the Museum of Cretan Ethnology (6km away), the Archaeological Museum of Mesara(11 km away). Please keep in mind that there are no mini markets in Kouses village, the nearest one is about 1,5 km. Keep in mind that the general electric switches are spotted in the white box at the master bedroom. We are giving you laundry washing detergents for one wash. If you need more washes please buy the detergents needed.
My name is Manos and I come from Crete, Kouses. I am a music producer and I live in Heraklion city, about 58 km from Kouses Village. I love traveling and I consider my self a traveler, thus I would be really happy if I could help fellow travelers get comfortable and live a better experience in Crete. Except of meeting new people and cultures, I like spending my spare time in sports.
Our village is a really quiet one, considering it has 50 permanent citizen. Here you can find a small traditional cafe-tavern. Around five (5) km away from Kouses you can also find the Minoan palaca of Festos. Lot of people, also, enjoy walking and hiking around Kouses village. Our village is located near wonderful beaches such as Matala, Komos, Agiofaraggo and Kokkinos Pirgos. The easiest way is to reach our place by car. Lot of people, also, enjoy walking and hiking around Kouses village. Please, notice that you are kindly requested not to move the apartments' furniture and if you reach the apartement late at night be sure you have visited a mini market for some food supplies (tap water is not edible at Crete)
