Hello! My name is Konstantinos and I was born and raised in Kalampaka, having the privilege to admire the gigantic rocks of Meteora every morning, the moment I open my eyes. I used to be a professional basketball player for more than a decade, playing abroad, but, currently, along with my entrepreneurial activity, I work as a basketball coach in my hometown. I love being close to nature, taking part in all sorts of sports activities (nothing can beat cycling, or running under the rocks), as well as travelling around the country with my newly acquired motorcycle. I also enjoy reading (Osho really redefined the way I see the world). I’m also a great fan of cooking and trying new tastes. But, above all, I enjoy spending time with the people I love (my adorable 6-year-old son takes the lead) - the perfect chance to practice empathy -, hanging out with my friends, and travelling (Finland being my favorite destination so far). It was this love for traveling, combined with the deeply-rooted love for my hometown, that, over the last years, led me to become a Booking Host, and I’m more than glad that I’ve recently hosted thousands of travelers from all over the world in my properties.

The house is located in the centre of the town, yet the neighborhood is very peaceful and safe. You can find all the amenities within walking distance and its strategic position allows you to reach easily and quickly the most attractive places of the city – you can catch the bus to Meteora and the monasteries from the nearby Βus Station which lies just 300 m. from the property. Grab the chance to explore the most popular attractions of the town – The Hellenic Culture Museum, The Natural History Museum of Meteora & Mushroom Museum and The Digital Projection Centre of Meteora’s History and Culture, all of which are located no more than 3 mins from the house. You can also visit the Byzantine Church of Virgin Mary - a must-see landmark on account of its precious 11th century Byzantine frescoes - situated right under the breathtaking Meteora rocks. Also, the local Train Station, which connects Kalambaka to all major Greek cities, is situated just 400 meters (on foot) from the house, while just nearby there is a taxi stand, too.
