The "Green Home" is a fully equipped country house with internet in the village of Afrata in the province of Kissamos, Chania. The area is 5 km away from the village of Kolymbari and about 30 km from Chania. It is therefore preferable that guests have their own means of transportation. The bus service of K.T.E.L. offers daily routes passing from the village early in the morning and midday. The house has a private entrance with parking space for 3 vehicles. The accommodation is partly air-conditioned. The closed bedroom has an aircondition, while the open bedroom on the top floor has a fan on the ceiling. In addition, guests will have at their disposal tsikoudia(local drink), wine and olive oil, all produced by the owner. Extras include a water filter, basic cleansing items and an exterior shower.
Mr. Manolis, the owner, will be living nearby to be close to the guests for whatever they need. He will also visit, by arrangement with the guests, the house only to water the plants. The house provides a garden with seasonable vegetables and fruit, which guests can enjoy always respecting the ripening process.
Next to the house is the traditional cafe " I Kali Kardia"( The Good Heart), which offers refreshments, coffees and traditional local dishes, such as boureki and gamopilafo. Across the street there is a mini market with the essentials.
