Large gardens, full of green, olive trees and a rural scenery close to the shallow and safe beaches of Akrotiri peninsula. The property is located in a village called Chorafakia. It is a two bedroom detached home, one bathroom with tub and a half bath, it shares a pool with two more properties and benefits from having large private outdoor spaces. Air conditioned with central heating and a fireplace, a sunny escape even in winter. High quality beds and mattresses, free Wi-Fi, TV, Netflix, a PS3, full kitchen with dish washer, large private outdoor parking, sunbeds and outdoor furniture. The house is within walking distance to the village center with mini market, pharmacy, hair saloon, restaurant and cafe.

The area of Akrotiri is home to the Airport of Chania and the biggest natural harbor in the Mediterranean, Souda. Nearby beaches absolutely worth spending your day there are the beaches of Kalathas, Tersanas, and Stavros. Also the popular in Instagram beach of Seitan Limani (devil’s port). Last but not least, the beaches of Marathi and Loutraki with their popular beach bars and seafood restaurants by the sea. Most of the beaches in Akrotiri have cafes and restaurants or canteens nearby so you can enjoy a cold beverage or a snack. For hiking lovers an impressing trail is getting to the “Katholiko monastery” which dates back in 1600. This monastery was abandoned due to pirate invasions. In addition to that, one can visit the cave of Saint Yiannis the Hermit and the Bear cave all of which are off Gouverneto Monastery. Banks, Post office and more shops can be found in Kounoupidiana which is 4km away.
