Apart from his main occupation as professor of Economics in Greece and in the Sorbonne University, Paris, Mr Dimitris’s entrepreneurial restlessness and the urge to express the Greek traditional philoxenia led him to the creation of the Aegean Village Hotel which already counts almost 30 years in offering genuine Parian experience to its visitors. The two “Traditional Houses” are located in a typical, quiet neighborhood of Parikia, in the heart of the old town, a 3 to 15 minute walk from the Market, the port, the main beaches, bus station & clubs. They have independent entrances and are set around a communal courtyard with ancient olive, apricot, banana and orange trees. They are designed in the old-fashioned Cycladic style, built with traditional materials like stone, wood etc.
