Historical sites such as ancient Corinth, ancient Sikyon, Lake Stymfalia, numerous Byzantine monasteries, exceptional natural beauty and mountain villages are within a 30 minute to 1 hour and 30 minute drive. Both in summer and winter this area is worth visiting and offers a wide range of sports (snow skiing in Helmos), cultural activities (Sikyon festival), nature experiences (Lake Doxa, lake cave). Epidavros, Mystras, Olympia, medieval castles and other interesting places in Peloponnese can be visited within a day trip (2 hours 30 or longer drive). Delphi can be reached within 2 hours 30 minutes via the Rio-Antirio bridge.
