Many locals choose to live in “Gouves” because the city Heraklion is just 15’ drive via the E-75 national road. This quiet “suburb” of Heraklion can combine quietness, calmed and relaxed atmosphere that a village can provide and at the same time being able to be in the centre without having to think of the traffic that normally it is the biggest problem in a city.
Car rental is recommended.
