Vela is a traditional house built in the 18th century and located in "chorio," right in the heart of Sými island, which promises an authentic accommodation environment to all of our guests who wish to experience a local lifestyle and way of living. The house is beautifully preserved, showcasing the architectural charm of that era. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending modern comforts with traditional aesthetics.
Hello my fellow travelers! My name is John and I’m a prοfessional host who owns 2 residences in Symi island since 2021. My hobbies involve nature, love to find new places good food and woodland treks. Bartender and dogfather! When I’m not working I really enjoy my shelf going long walks with my dog finding out new landscapes. I’m very glad that I have been able to open up my home to guests from far and wide! The apartment is located at the central square of horio, within 20 meters you can find a supermarket, a coffeshop, restaurants and a parking lot also next to the bus station. Just 10 minutes by foot from the port You can arrive at chorio by foot, with a taxi, or with the city bus
