Villa Elpida is a new build house, fully equipped with an amazing swimming pool . The house can host very comfortable 10 quests It has private parking for 2 cars in the property. The place is called Minies and it’s a small village on the way to the airport from the capital ,Argostoli. Only 2 klm from the airport but not disturb from the planes. Also the airport is operating up to 12.00 middnight. A very convenient place to start and explore the island or just to pop for a swim at the beaches around , from 1klm to 5 klm away they are all organized and sandy beaches! Enjoy!

The village Minia village belongs to the municipal section of Argostoli, in the municipality of Kefalonia, is just 6 km from the capital of the island, to the southwest, and is very close to the airport. You will find it referred to the plural “Minies” with almost the same frequency of its official name. The beach at Minia is the main reason why the village is full of people in summer. In Minia, you will still find numerous tourist accommodations, as it has evolved into a holiday center on the island: hotels and rooms to rent to suit all tastes and budgets are in abundance. Minies, according to the tradition, have been built in at least three different locations in the region. The pirate raids destroyed the village and its inhabitants rebuilt it to safer places. The village’s church is the Virgin of Maggana, was first built in 1666. The current building was constructed in the likeness of an older, which has been destroyed by the devastating earthquakes in Kefalonia, in August 1953.
