Villa is only 3kms far from the Falassarna beach and 35 kms from the exquisite beach of Elafonisos. In 10 kms, you can find Kasteli (Kissamos) town, where there is a small hospital. In 8kms, there is the Kasteli port, from where boats take you to the worldwide known Balos lagoon and Gramvousa on a daily basis. The city of Chania is 45kms far, while the airport Ioannis Daskalogiannis is 60 kms far. Very close to the village you can find a supermarket and a traditional café under a big Platanos tree (plane tree), which has given its name to the village. Last, you can find a pharmacy after 1 km.
