ABOUT YOUR HOSTS: Matt is originally from New Zealand and is married to his beautiful Greek wife Pavlina who he met while living in London. Pavlina’s family are from Lefkada and she introduced him to this beautiful Ionian island on his first trip back in 2003. Matt was instantly hooked by the stunning undeveloped coast line and amazing west coast beaches with incredible azure and turquoise waters, similar to a tropical paradise!! Having spent most of his childhood summers by the sea in New Zealand and Australia, and having travelled extensively around the world, Matt was taken by the island and knew we just had to get a slice of paradise to build their very own dream Mediterranean summer holiday home. After an extensive search they luckily came across this beautiful Kathisma Beach plot and were immediately taken by the views. They acquired the land in 2007 and after a long and painstaking labour of love they completed the build in late 2016.
