Surrounded by extensive lawns, 800 metres from Malia’s Old Town, Villa Mare Monte offers self-catering accommodation with private balcony and a pool with sun terrace, free sun beds and umbrellas. The bright and spacious studios are tastefully decorated and have equipped kitchenette with kettle and fridge. Each has a large private balcony, most with a direct view of the sea and the traditional villages of Malia and Stalis. Set in 5.000 m² of spacious grounds, the Villa Mare Monte offers an internet corner with free Wi-Fi, a play room with pool table and a large satellite TV with sports live broadcast. The pool-side snack-bar serves a homemade breakfast, snacks, salads and all-day meals with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine. Weekly barbeque evenings, as well as occasional mini golf tournaments are organised. The centre of Stalis is 1.5 km away from Villa Mare Monte, while the nearest beach is 1.2 km away. A restaurant can be found within 450 metres from Villa Mare Monte and a supermarket is at a distance of 500 metres. The Minoan Archaeological Site of Malia is 3 km away.
