An idyllic location, the ideal destination…
Mochlos is a traditional village, 48km east of Agios Nikolaos and 35km west of Sitia, located opposite the island of Agios Nikolaos, with its namesake chapel, only 150m from the village and a significant archaeological site.
Along the coastal road of the settlement there are taverns with local cuisine, fresh fish and cafés, where one can enjoy coffee and pastry. There is a small sandy beach called "Limenaria" with a rocky seabed. On the east, there is another bay, just as big, but rockier. The abandoned settlement "Loutres" adorned with domed buildings and beautiful little chapels, awaits to be discovered, only a short hike away.
