There are many special semi-private beaches nearby for fabulous calm sea swimming. A fast ferry will take you for day outings to the nearby famous islands of Spetses and Hydra. Take day trips by car to i) the famous ancient amphitheatre of Epidaurus with its summer theater festivals and music, ii) the town of Nafplion and its remarkable hilltop fortess, Palamidi , iii) Methana volcano and the beautiful nearby village of Ermioni and its Thursday farmer's market. Hike the Katafyki Canyon to Ermioni Village, eat out at various gorgeous tavernas and dine in the fishing port Kilatha!
