Several years ago London-based Peter and Susan Marston chanced on Tinos Island travelling the Aegean for years no one had spoken of the beautiful quiet island nearby. Charmed, they viewed impossible ruined houses, then spotted an old mansion in a pretty village, sadly neglected, sheltered beneath a beautiful mountain. It was love at first sight. People said it was the old Bishop's house, unoccupied for decades, and miraculously a year later it opened for visitors. It had become a passion for Peter and Susan, designing, making and creating for the project.

Property information

A classic Cyclades house in a dazzling setting beneath Tinos's Exomvourgo mountain, with original carved marble and plasterwork combined with modern bathrooms and kitchens. And with home-from-home comforts. Outside in our private gardens are mature mulberry, walnut, almond and fruit trees amongst the terraces where we grow organic fruit and vegetables for our guests. Retreat to our beautiful terraces surrounded by the scent and blossom of wild flowers and birdsong, swim, explore villages and Tinos's amazing restaurants and vineyards.
