Sveti Juraj is ideal place for family vacations because it is not too crowded and in a radius of just one hour driving you can see some of Croatia nicest sights: mountain Velebit National park, Plitvice lakes National park, Zavratnica fjord Nature park, inland Lika with beautiful rivers and Nikola Tesla memorial center.
You can also plan a day trip to islands that you can see from Salvia terrace: island Krk, island Rab and couple of uninhabited islands: Prvic, St. Grgur and Goli (former prison).
