We have two apartments in the house, which is an old Austrian villa in the very centar of our beautiful Opatija... One is a Studio apartment for 2 persons and the other is a One bedroom apartment (2+2) with the balcony for 2 or more persons. They are both well equipped with all necesary for a good stay. So, only few steps away you can enjoy the beach and the sea, drinks in many bars, taste typical local food in nearbye restaurants or just take a short or a long walk on our well known 12km long walking promenade...
We as hosts, me & my wife Danijela are always ready to help our guests in discovering Opatija, its riviera and the surroundings... Also, we do our best, in advising restaurants, especially fish & sea food restaurants, beaches or places to visit. We like meating people , traveling and family type of life. Danijela likes cooking, traveling, and long walks by the sea or countryside , while my hobbies are diving, spear gun fishing, hunting and motobikes. Going along the coast and around the islands with boat is definitly , one of our favourite and preffered relaxations... Opatija offers many trips with ships & boats , some along the coast and some to the islands of Krk & Cres having the possibility of see, the most of our "Kvarner bay". On the other side of Opatija, there is an oportunity to climb or drive up to the top of our "Učka" mountain 1400m high, stoping or having lunch in historical village of Veprinac or dining in "Dopolavoro" restaurant on mountain pass "Poklon" trying local venisome meat or vegetable delicious menu. So we are here waiting for you to explore Opatija and its riviera , together with our surroundings or mountains if you decide and wish to do that too....
Beach Slatina & beach Lido. Walking promenade Lungo mare, 12km long from Old town fisherman village "Volosko" to "Lovran". Many restaurants with local fish, sea food or different, Croatian and international dishes. Villa Angiolina with famous park Angiolina. Croatian museum of tourism. Statue of madonnina, the lady with the sea gull, simbol of Opatija. Local food, fish & local vegetables and fruits on Opatija market - "Tržnica-Mrkat". Historical benedictine church of St. Jacob (Built in year 1453). Church of virgin Mary annunciation (Built in year 1926)
