Our home and the town are ideal for those who want to enjoy a peaceful holiday or travelers who search for overnight paradise before reaching hectic city of Hvar. Our home is located in the close center of Sućuraj, small town at the cape of the island Hvar. We have 2 apartments in our family house. This studio, located on the second floor, has all necessary equipment for your pleasing stay: kitchen with dishes, bathroom provided with towels, soap, toilet paper and hair dryer, sat-TV, wireless internet, air-condition. Centar of the town and the main town beach are 150m from the house. Near the house is a big parking lot available to you free of charge and yard with barbecue area. To fulfill your experience, there is a possibility to try some of the Mediterranean specialties and breakfast. Welcome drink is our old tradition. If not to tired, we like to chat a bit with our guests on their arrival so they can get to know us and feel more comfortable, plus to provide them with all information they might need. We are always trying to make a stay with us pleasant as much as possible. We live on the ground floor therefore will be available to you when needed.
Hi, I'm Milena :) Sućuraj, beautiful town on the south side of the island Hvar, is the place I grew up. I am married to a German man, also during the winter, I live and work as a nurse in Germany / Duisburg. Although Germany offers all that man dreams of and I love this land to death, I can't wait to come home and enjoy the summer. I am a big animal friend, have two dogs, Hennry ( Shar Pei ) and Bingo ( Labrador ). I love travelling, cooking and receive people in my home. Me and my husband Jörg we will try to enjoy ,as much as we can, your holidays in Sucuraj. Really hope to see you, and wish your happy journey.
The town of Hvar, Stari Grad, Jelsa, Vrbovska and other settlements on the island off Hvar are best visited by car. For those who come without a car, local bus line (Monday and Friday) or taxi cars are an option. There is also the option of car, scooter or bike rental. Thanks to frequent ferry lines you can take interesting field trips with your car to the mainland, for instance: - Split, the biggest city in Dalmatia, - Trogir – one of the best preserved towns built in roman-gothic style, - Dubrovnik - a city whose center is surrounded by massive stone walls from the Middle ages, - National park Krka, a river with large numbers of waterfalls and historical city of Sibenik, first city on the Adriatic built by Croats, - In Herzegovina, near the border, there is a well known catholic shrine Medugorje. For those who have speedboats at their disposal, one day trips to some interesting places are also available: - National park Mljet Island - Nature park Lastovo Isles - The island of Brac - The island of Vis and nearby island of Biševo with Blue cave (Modra špilja) - via A1 highway or state road D1 from Zagreb, we can recommend a visit to Plitvice national parks
