This little oasis of peace is located only 8 km from Dubrovnik and is reachable from the City by a regular bus service, the ride taking some 20 minutes. A unique promenade, a few kilometers long, divides the bay into two places, Zaton Mali and Zaton Veliki (Small and Big Zaton). Mali Zaton is a wonderful place for adventurers and campers who flock to it with their sleeping bags and tents. Veliki Zaton has a post office, bank, shops, bars and restaurants. We recommend Ancora restaurant with romantic terrace where you can enjoy the traditional dishes of this area, such as Dalmatian ham, cheese, seafood and meat specialties. What you will not find in Zaton are large hotels and crowds, so if you are looking for a place to relax, you will certainly be delighted with Zaton.
